Profoundly good environmental portrait. Low point of view adds something.

Just finished watching 7 Years in Tibet, so this really resonates with me. Just wonderful.

This is a great cultural portrait - along the lines of what one would see when turning the pages of National Geographic Magazine. Great clouds that seems to frame and radiate out from her. Now as much as I say that this is National Geographic worthy I still have a critique that would improve the composition and thus a stronger response in your audience (oh, man can she be critical right:-) ). I know that the full body shot captures the wonderful colors in the skirt but it is at the expense of showing the story written on her face and a lesser degree minimalizing her livelihood to tiny subject barely visible in the backdrop. Bring us up close and personal with this shepherdess - a crop that is just under the 'T' of her belt would still show some of the colorful skirt but it would now bring the story written in her eyes and face that much closer...and the sheep would be a bit more noticible.
