 This image was shot for my local Camera Competition of 'Eyes', had to edit the shot to basic for this challenge. How lucky am I that this image was suitable for both. Hope it does as well with my local club. My husband is the model on this occasion.

Hadn't expected this would be in the top three so very happy for a yellow ribbon.

I love the detail of the skin- the variation in eye color as well as the true length of the lashes. I also like the framing- taking the face at a side angel really works here and I find it an interesting choice to leave the stamp out of (the viewers) focus.
