Certainly not typical camera settings for a fireworks shot, but what can you do when you are shooting handheld and they make a huge fuss over taking your tripod in Disneyland (on that day anyway)? Nothing ... you just pull out your 85mm, back up as much as possible, set your aperture to 1.2 and start snapping away and hope that you will get just good enough depth of field for your foreground too so that the DPC community approves it :) The king of all lenses, Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 II USM!!!

p.s. Looking at my shutter speed, it is apparent that I had some room to increase my depth of field for this, but since I was in aperture priority mode and things were happening fast, I didn't want to touch my camera setting especially after seeing that a lot of my other shots had shutter speeds barely faster than 1/125 while shooting handheld.

Amazing colors! The wonderful, well-lit foreground helps too.
My pick for Blue in this challenge.

castle looks a bit grainy, either overprocessed or an attempt to recover the exposure otherwise this is a fantastic shot
