 Well, the photo is not an excellent one for this challenge but I simply had to submit something...It has been a long time since I submitted for the challenge and finally I made myself do something about it. I was keep coming back to this excellent website over and over again and learned so much by just looking at wonderful photographs and amazing ideas...
Unfortunatly the nature of my job doesn't leave me much time for the photography but I would like this to change. I was freezing at -13C to get this icy tree - and I'm still angry about myself that I didn't position the camera at the right angle...Well, it was hard when one can't feel her/his own hands... :)
Ah we only learn by doing... The mistakes will make me grow! So now, I'll be brave and I'll click the submit button... :)

The photo is taken at night (a cold cold night) in a park, and besides some minor clonning out it's not post proccessed (perhaps I should devote more time and polish it some more, but the truth is that there's not much time left...) lazy, lazy me...Ok we'll see what the voters have to say...

LOVE THIS - I've tried a few photos like this myself. My suggestions to make this better would be to move to an angle where you can't see the light and the ligth pole.

Perfect capture of the light from that lamp post. Gives an extremely erie feeling yet at the same time a feeling of a light in the darkness. I really like how you positioned the camera here. How long of an exposure did you do here to pick up the lights of the sky?
