 Before this challenge was announced, I was thinking of doing a photo like this. We had recently had a large snowfall, so the trails through the woods are sufficiently covered. I brought Nala with me one Saturday morning to Governor Nelson State Park, where we started off taking some shots like this, then ended with some nice shots along the lake.

I really enjoy how she is looking up to me in this photo. It gives the photo a bit of extra character. I'm hoping this does ok, as I know portraits are probably my weakest aspect of photography.

Post Processing:
* Crop
* White Balance
* Increase recovery and brightness
* Reduce highlights slightly
* Topaz Adjust
* Topaz Detail
* Topaz Adjust again
* Retouch Nala's butt to make it more pleasing
* Increase Exposure, Black Point, and Brightness
* Increase Saturation and Vibrancy
* Curve to bring out whites a bit
* Desaturate light blue and dark blue (to make the snow nice and white)
* Lower luminance of yellow
* Export to TIFF
* Resize to 1600 px
* Resize to 800 px
* Save for Web
