|A clear and cold December day here in Norway, with temperatures around -15 degrees Celsius. The low afternoon sun was illuminating a thin layer of mist hovering over the sea surface, and I felt that the solitary bench on the small pier completed the feeling of serenity.
I broke the rule of thirds with the placement of the horizon here, partly because I wanted the horizon line more in focus and partly to get more of the interesting dynamics in the sky into the crop.
PP in Lightroom:
White balance, exposure, black clipping, fill light, contrast, clarity
Noise reduction, sharpening
Some adjustment of per-color luminance and saturation
Automatic lens adjustment based on profile
Crop, rotate, export
I don't have especially high hopes for this, guessing around 5.60. I like the picture, but I don't think I've managed to make it "pop" enough for the voters...
