Challenge: Shapes IV (Basic Editing)
Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Canon EOS-40D
Lens: Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM
Location: NWNJ
Date: Nov 7, 2010
Aperture: 3.5
ISO: 800
Shutter: .3 sec
Galleries: Self Portrait, Blur
Date Uploaded: Nov 9, 2010

neat image to reduce noise, black and white on green setting, curves to up contrast, a touch of sharpening after the resize.

this is an outtake from the portrait challenge, but I feel the way that the light outlines my head makes it a shape, plus there are strong triangles in here. Even so, I could be a contender for brown... bring it on!

Light sabers? Follow spots? Dear Lord, I need me some more imagination. I just like the shapes :-)

Wow 80th place??? Some people. Oh well I thought this was brilliant and was one of my higher votes. I gave this a 9 as it has more emotion then most of the shots, certainly more then mine. Another great shot Don.

Took me a while to put it together. Immediately made me think of humans changing onto humanoids, and not liking it, then got the title. Thanks for the workout my brain got.

The lion king or don quixote and his light sword. Crossing boundaries. Again.

Plenty to enjoy here. Anthropomorphic shape looks like it's moonwalking out of a follow spot. Top three pick for me. Thank you.

Expression is disconcerting; evoking fear and compassion, flipping back and forth between the glowing hair and your face creates a much needed dynamic tension. A top pick for me. 9
