I love this, Nick. Ok, I love everything you do, but this image is really special. I think the texture makes me feel like I'm there, like I can feel the air on my skin. |

The addition of texture to age the photo really calls the attention more to the shapes and light shining through that arched ceiling and decorative windows. It gives off a feel and mood of being 'well-traveled' - a familiar and comforting setting. The silhouette of the person injects a human element into the composition and adds interest - are we meeting this person at the station or is it a picture of ourself arriving/leaving (tells a story) |

Wow, is that ever a cool ceiling! Love the person in the shot, really gives a sense of scale to the wonderfully intricate structure. |

NIce. I like that in this case the picture without the texture would probably not have nearly the same impact as it has with the texture layer. Not sure, but that's what I'm imagining. |
