I enjoy the extreme grain here - it gives this photo a sense of rawness it wouldn't have otherwise, and breathes life into the openness of the sky. |

Red Kites are absolutely magnificent birds, and we see them from time to time in Yorkshire - never managed to get a photo though. Technically, the bird is lovely and sharp, but the photo is let down a little by the ring bokeh produced by your lens, and the sensor dust. Good composition that suits the title. I would have been delighted to capture this photo. |

Reminds me of an oriental woodcut for some reason. The Kite looks quite interesting; I feel like I want a tighter crop so I can see it better. Not sure what I think of what appears to be an overlay, though the color is great as a background for the Kite. |

This is a cool photo overall, with good use of negative space. I do have to wonder what up with all the spots in the sky. Was your lens getting rained upon? |
