 I went into the deep shade of the wildwood at the botanical garden looking for sunbeams coming down through the canopy at noon. Found a nice puddle of hot noonday light on this mossy log & the moss is in bloom. The deep shadow behind the log is followed by another band of hot light. Manual focus. I might get lucky & win the Brown Ribbon for this one.
