 I kept the challenge in mind while shooting, but didn't shoot specifically for "Knees Down". I just kept in mind that I might be cropping an image.

As far as the glow that everyone seems to love, it was a very last minute addition that I'm glad I chose to make. Overall, the image was just a bit too sharp and I thought a bit of faded Gaussian blur would make it a bit more "dreamy".

Nothing too difficult about the shot itself. It was shot with me facing into the sun and lighting on the model via a Vivtar 285HV. This is pretty much par for my beach shoots.

The only thing I can complain about is the glow around the legs. Makes the pictures feel too surreal. Other than that, fantastic photograph.
