OK, this is not a great shot so I know it will not do well with voting. I was not going to enter any challenges this week but seeing my daughter sitting in the chair playing with her DSi I knew this sort of met the more difficult part of the challenge, ie, learing something about the subject.
My prediction? 4.3xxx
The reason for the low score will be:
- DNMC as the chair is not integrated with the person (to the casual viewer - though it is to me). Also, other props used.
- Subject is too dark/underexposed
- Blown highlights from the light
Why enter? Because I like it! And you never know, someone else might too.
Some trivia, I did not set up this shot. I attached my camera to the tripod, took a single shot, some basic editing (Topaz noise, curves, USM) and uploaded to the challenge in under 10 minutes. Nothing to be proud of, I know, but a record for me and I liked the surprised look on my daughter's face who didn't even know I had taken the photo.

| Interesting choice to not include her face. I like the perspective you used, but would have liked to see less of the background (adds a lot of clutter to the image). |
