 Taken in broad daylight with all cloud sky as background which I whited out with flash,some blotching smoothed out, color enhanced, and resized (something I cannot figure out for the life of me, so the dimensions meet pixel count but the file size is very small?

The image appears soft and it seems that you pumped the values in post so it appears grainy.
