I really like this set-up, and think that the mirror is a great addition. Congrats on the HM.

My pick for a ribbon in this challenge...you had a very traditional approach with a twist! Well executed!

Oh, I liked this very much. (And curious as to what books sandwich the Owen Wister).

Beautifully done.

I like everything in your set up but the mirror...it doesn't seem to be in proportion to the books and pear...I will say good lighting and texture...and at least you made more of a display (elevated) your elements...

In my top four of the challenge. 10.

podium quality, excellent texture and very dramatic lighting. i would have to go back to this photo and ask you how to do that matte kind of look as seen in this photo

Very effective use of the mirror to add some height and depth to the composition and show us more of the texture and curve of the pear. Overall I like the light and composition, though it's just a tad dark.

One of the best I've seen so far in the challenge. Love the set up - the mirror and reflection are a nice addition - lighting is wonderful.

Lovely light. Reflection works well. Possibly the only reflection I liked in the challenge...

i actually have spent a little while looking at this shot, i'm tempted to punish it for the unoriginality of it, but something about it is just very pleasing to my eye and i find myself really liking it, nice job 7

Didn't enter this challenge, still have no idea what still life is. But this image is very pleasing in my eyes. I like your creativity in using the mirror to create three pears; like that you have three books. I like how your arrangement leads my eyes from the lower left to the peak of the mirror, then back down to the pear on the right. I think your lighting is good too in giving nice play of light and shadows. Finally I like the different textures throughout the image. Nice still life.
