Lensbaby, f2.8 ring. Resized from the small jpeg to 800 on the long side. Didn't even sharpen. It's a Lensbaby - why sharpen? :-)

Hoping to at least break 5.0 but won't hold my breath.

They were having a paddleboard race. The two young ladies in the shortie wetsuits just played in the surf the whole time. The board that was still there was a contender who apparently wasn't aware of the start time. He started long after the rest but still finished 7th. It was quite an enjoyable morning!

A shoehorn? Perhaps. But you have to admit that the Lensbaby effect sort of pulls you in and toward the water... much like the undertow does, yes? :-)

Also, Lensbaby shots are notoriously soft in saturation as well as focus - I've never quite figured why that is, but when processed, they do tend to need serious curves. But the soft saturation here is just perfect for the overcast gray morning that it was.

I really liked this during voting and recognized the lensbaby and liked it that much more. Sorry the masses don't get it. :)

Just catching up after the holiday. Bummer with the score.

But on a positive note, it's your first lowish score for a while :) Glass is half full and the sun is going to shine tomorrow !

My top vote in this challenge so I am suprised to see it finish down in 46th place.

What happened to this score? That's just crazy low! *sigh*

I love the small spot of focus... with all of that color...and all of this with Minimal Editing... *sigh again*
