Nice job getting the sailboat in the middle. That really gives a good anchor to a photo that would otherwise be subjectless (in my mind).

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Great coloration and the exposure is perfectly judged too. The idea behind the image is very strong too.

Critical stuff: In my view, the composition and crop are sub-optimal; I think less sky, more beach, with a squarer crop sacrificing the right side of the image may have been better. The people are really interesting and I think your crop has (metaphorically and literally) cut them off at the knees.

Overall: I do like the image but perhaps not as much as I might've with different compositional choices.
