Got this by crouching in a pasture waiting for one of 2 paint horses to go after a bug. Poor old Crockett has perhaps the worst conformation I've ever seen on a horse. But despite his downhill build, straight shoulder, jughead, long weak back and exceptionally straight hind legs, he is a very good horse under tack for his owner.

Camera on tripod. And yes if you think it's tough trying to expose properly for a paint horse on a sunny day, just try it on an overcast murky day!

pp: RAW-TIFF conversion, clone out another horse, crop, saturation, usm, sharpen, save for web

This photo has potential, as you filled the frame nicely to show us details. But a few things could change to help improve it:
- The blown out white sky is merging with the white spots of the horse, making the horse disappear
- The green in the grass feels like it could use a bit of extra saturation
- The horizon is just slightly not level.

Lots of blown out detail and flat colors in this I'm afraid. Not really sure that I have any suggestions that could help.

i find that the white is too bright, you have lost many details in the white horse zones... it is a sin... 5

The horse really needs a bit more separation from the sky. Alternatively you could try to get even lower and use the white featureless sky with the horse.
