Taken In Pretoria West, The whole family tagged allong. Spent an hour on a different spot and was disappointed at what I had and the light. Packed up and left to go home and as I drove I found another entrance. Drove in to explore and my kid's faces dropped as I said...Just quickly one more time.

I took a couple of pictures with the intention to return the next day with hopefully better light/more drama in the sky as well as have the wider angle lens. Try as I might, could not get the third tower refelction in on the comps I had with the 24-70.

Of course the gates were locked when I went again and I had to use this one. Posted and hoped for the best. Thanks to all voting and nice comments.

Got to appreciate & love DPC voters for the 1 and 2 three's in voting. Taste do differ :)

I think this shot works so well because the wires are in it. It gives a great texture and horizontal movement.

Although obviously industrial, it has a dreamy, hypnotic look.... Beautiful shot and a well deserved ribbon.

Wat 'n pragfoto! Die turbinegebou is sprokiemooi, laat my dink aan 'n rivierboot met daai 2 skoorstene en die refleksie. Vertel my net, hoe kry jy die lug nog so kleurvol teen 13 sekondes?

Sê vir die mense wat kommentaar lewer oor die gebrek aan donnerweer, jy't die plek wat die donnerweer maak afgeneem. hehe.

Wow - this is really awesome!! The only nit picky thing I have, is my eye keeps coming back to the sun and the reflection in the water. I know it's basic so you couldn't clone it out.

Judging by the lights being on at the plant, and the 'light source' doesn't blow out all your details, I would guess this was taken at night... nice shot - some people may complain about the reflection being cropped, but I kinda like it that way.
