INITIAL RESPONSE: WAOW. Really appealing .. blue .. Really greta picture

COMPOSITION-CONTENT - Good composition and content ... nothing to say .. the vignetting looks aproriate to me or do not bother me .. it make us looking trought the lens with you ...

BACKGROUND-None. Nothing specific .. vignetting is part of the backgroud (see above)

CAMERA WORK-TECHNICAL- Some noise. I have never really seen amateur astronoical picture .. but the noise seems to be very well handled in that case and give some 'atmosphere' to the shot

DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - See above .. I do not really know what to expect for such a shot.

MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO - A great great shot .. I would lilke to have done that one .; I am been wondering recently what scope should I get (no too expensive) to do something like that. It looks like a 20x does it. Anyway .. I like the picture really a lot . .congratulations

Thanks for the kind comments. The shot was through the eye peice of a Pentax 80mm 20-60x spotting scope, at 20x. Some vignetting on left on purpose to make it a bit darker. Daytime shot.

Wonderful image, great magnification. The angle of view and the whole image seems to be different from where I live in the world, I wonder where you live?

What zoom do you have? Have you fooled me? This is almost to good to be a photo taken by someone other than at a plantetarium. I have to know how you did this. This is awesome. PTL 10

Very nice shot. Must have been shot in a telescope, because it looks inverted. I'm jealous of whatever lens/telescope you used. Jacko. 9

I'm not sure if this is an actual picture of the moon or a photo of a photo. Light fall off in the top left corner is odd. All I know is that its difficult to get a shot of the moon like this with a digital camera, so if it is for real I'd be curious to know how a shot like this can be taken...

WOW! Not sure how you did this but very cool... looks almost like a painting... Love the variances in blues and the way they get lighter coming from the upper left hand corner. Nice job, and good luck!

looks like the shot was over exposed? maybe more apature so ya don't have to leave the shutter open so long? or maybe thats how ya made it get blue? photoshop might have done better if that's the case.. I am only guessing though.. otherwise cool idea and great shot of the moon

PS: 2nd time around and after seeing all the others I am raising your score.. :o) good work!

Impressive, though a bit grainy. if the color was smooth it would look a lot better.
