Very difficoult to get a shot like that, especially with digital.
04/21/2002 08:00:00 PM
That bird looks upsidedown. Did you shoot him? °¿°
Kidding ya. great shot.
04/21/2002 05:10:00 PM
interesting shot.
04/21/2002 04:47:00 PM
wow excellent shot!
04/20/2002 12:19:00 PM
but where's the splash?
04/20/2002 10:58:00 AM
Good stopping of motion, leaves me wondering what happens next.
04/20/2002 06:29:00 AM
Great timing. A little closer would have been better.
04/20/2002 03:54:00 AM
Seems a little blurry. Wish you could have thought of something else to shoot at...... get it? ha ha sorry.
04/19/2002 02:23:00 PM
Good photo. Did he come up with a fish? Maybe you could crop out some (not all) of the black horizon and a little of the left side of the photo.
04/19/2002 02:47:00 AM
a little dim, but heck for a capture like this.. it's great
04/19/2002 01:22:00 AM
nice photo. the birs looks almost upside-down!
04/18/2002 04:32:00 PM
While I have the feeling that the colors are probably an accurate representation of what you could see at the time, it feels too monotone to me
04/18/2002 10:42:00 AM
This photo seems a bit dark. Otherwise not bad!
04/18/2002 09:05:00 AM
very cool ... got no idea how you managed to get that. Lot's of patience i guess. Nicely focussed. Don't know if you needed all of the space in the left hand side
04/17/2002 11:22:00 PM
Good, but trucks in the bg ruin it
04/17/2002 04:28:00 PM
The gloomy lighting can be overlooked, as this is an example of great (or should I say lucky) timing!
04/17/2002 01:24:00 PM
Poor bird . . .
Good capture of motion. If you could've cropped the vehicle out someway . . .
04/17/2002 11:03:00 AM
nifty. exposure a bit dark. use levels to fix.
04/16/2002 05:22:00 PM
Only thing worthy of complaints here is, somewhat dark, and since this is a nature shot it would of been much nicer had the cars not been at the top. This must have been a difficult shot to capture so I must throw mad props.
04/16/2002 04:12:00 PM
Don't have many chances at a shoot like this! I especially like the beak just breaking the water. Great job.
04/16/2002 03:22:00 PM
nice shot well captured and stopped.
04/16/2002 02:40:00 PM
cool!
04/16/2002 02:00:00 PM
Really cool picture -- quite a lens you must have.
04/16/2002 01:45:00 PM
What a strange picture! I'd love to see this scene half a second later!
04/16/2002 01:35:00 PM
Very interesting subject. Good focus. The pictures is a little dark and I think I would have cropped a bit (getting the jeep out of the picture and most of the brush). Actually I think the picture looks lighter if you crop out all of the brush.
04/16/2002 12:47:00 PM
Well done, amazing pic i love it.
My favorite
04/16/2002 12:27:00 PM
Nice photo. I like the angle you have of the bird.
04/16/2002 06:51:00 AM
I assume the bird is diving for dinner. A great catch, but from the angle I'm having a hard time figuring out which part of the bird is which.
04/16/2002 12:30:00 AM
I'd suggest a tighter crop, especially because of the car(s) in the background
04/15/2002 06:38:00 PM
did he come up with a fish?
04/15/2002 06:06:00 PM
Did he get the fish? Good one.
04/15/2002 04:35:00 PM
Great shot but I would have definitely cropped out the vehicle keeping it all natural. The horizon's a little tilted, too. It's a small detail but I think It is important, nonetheles.
04/15/2002 01:15:00 PM
perfect
04/15/2002 12:32:00 PM
great idea
04/15/2002 11:42:00 AM
Love it.
04/15/2002 10:06:00 AM
Love the picture! Would've cropped it a little more though, the cars in the background are a little distracting. Maybe make it a portrait format?
04/15/2002 09:53:00 AM
This is good. The vehicle is distracting, but you can't tell the bird where to dive, can you? Also, the photo is a bit too dark.
04/15/2002 09:28:00 AM
The car behind is distracting, might have been worth cropping it out. The bird doesn't really stand out against the water - maybe lower and using the trees on the bank as a the background would have worked better ?
04/15/2002 09:27:00 AM
wow...what luck to catch this shot.
04/15/2002 09:12:00 AM
Nice and sharp. Too bad vehicle in the background is distracting . Try cropping closer to draw the eye into the subject.
04/15/2002 09:01:00 AM
You are much more patient that I am. I hope you didn't have to sit all day waiting on this photo! This is an intriguing photo. To create a higher level of 'visual impact' with this shot, I would have attempted to zoom tighter or possibly crop much tighter around this bird. I also realize that this photo can't be recreated at will and I commend your choice of subject for this challenge!
04/15/2002 08:50:00 AM
Nice capture. My only suggestion would be to crop out the jeep :)
04/15/2002 07:44:00 AM
Incredible timing, but I wish the car in the background were not there.
04/15/2002 04:24:00 AM
Unusual subject
