I was raining while I took this. I like the quality of the light. A boost in saturation to bring up the greens.

Post challenge - Thanks to everyone for all the great comments and support through the little DQ controversy.

The original blue is a great shot and I hope we see more from him.

A simply extraordinary photograph. Controversy sucks, but I'm sure the ribbon is still sweet :)

Very nice. I love making pictures when it rains, the colours (sometimes) are so beautifully saturated, like in your picture here.

This is extraordinary. All kinds of things packed into it, miraculously held together by the light and the processing.

I really like this shot (guess you did too since you entered it) The setting, the colors, the mimicking steeples - just very interesting and made me want to study it more.

Oddly, the details lost to the smoothing don't hurt this image for me, it looks like a pastel painting. Love the colours.

Scarbrd? David? This is so incredibly beautiful. I really love it. Do you mind explaining to me in a PM just how to achieve this lovely effect with post processing? I have often wondered how to get this kind of effect. I would very much appreciate it if you would share your secret with me. Another one of your images that I love is "Norwegian Dream" Did you use the same processing?
Regards
Fred

A little heavy on the color saturation. Still a 7.
