Wow, what a day this was and such a fantastic finish to the day...we arrived at the Grand Canyon in time to see sunset. I was looking off into the horizon and got some of these wonderful shadow plays in the ridges. My husband said I'd never get the picture as I was shooting directly into the sun. But...I got it....yea!!!

When I look at this I see many, many faces in the profiles of the ridges. I have seen others that have gotten similar pictures and instantly love them...

I hope that you have enjoyed this picture as much as I have...

Very nice. However...the edges are oversharpened to distracting degree. The gray "bump" on the left is odd...lens flare? Very pretty.

almost graphic in its design - i really like this - i just wonder about the third to last horizon from the top on the left - it almost seems like a smudge
