 This photo is my humble attempt to create a tribute to the work of Steve McCurry. It doesn't come close but it was a lot of fun doing it. A huge thank you to my model Meesh - my sync wire broke so no strobes - I had to move the green b/g and 3 panel room divider (to hold up the black muslin covered by dark green drapes) outside to shoot .. she was so patient.

I am delighted with the score and the comments for the most part. Thank you voters!!

You pulled this off beautifully. The subject,lighting and composition are really close. Even if this wasn't an homage it would stand alone as a great portrait.

At least half a dozen of these, but yours is the best. Closest to the original in composition and lighting - well done.

Great shot technically but it doesn't have anything that makes it stand out from all the other similar entries. Also, this might seem shallow but the stray hairs and pimples are a little distracting. 6
