Anne Sexton's The Awful Rowing Toward God... Not exactly; swimming, elegant crawl stroke. Well, on the way. Spirit moving.

wow, last place in the challenge, I am not alone :) in your case at least it's because the picture did not really meet the subject. nice work anyway!

It's a fine line you've drawn between infinity and the road - when you see the squirrel, it's impossible to go back to the galaxy. A brief moment... well seen, and perfectly processed.

You certainly made minor stir in the discussion thread with this one. Congrats.... I think.

Nice dead ass squirrel.. I'm curious how it tasted.. ;0 (never drink and post...)

Maybe it is still alive and simply climbing a tree? Hmm... Maybe... I'm not however, convinced it's not flattened..

So, this has to be posthumous or one of his crew... So do tell, how the heck is this HDR?? I think you might have gotten more range directly out of the camera....

Still, I like that you took a (rather nice) picture of a flat? squirrel and entered it... You get a 7 today, for sheer balls and artistic vision..

P.S. Seriously, how the hell do you justify entering this as HDR, I have to know, hopefully my 7 will compel you to talk.. :)

My guess is this is the fine work of Whiterook. If it is, you could have retitled the image Awesome Squirrel. Sorry, don't see the challenge theme expressed in your photo, (perhaps you interpreted HDR as high death rate?) so I had to drop your score from a 1 to a 2.

Is that misalignment or did you do it ? And this is looks like a rat corpse rather than a galaxy.

Galaxies or roadkill...whichever....
Not really sure how this fits into HDR. HDR is meant to pull out more tonal range than you would typically have in a photo. Not sure this does that.

apologies but the creation does not quite do it for me. I am definitely looking at this shot and wondering what it is. The main problem I have is that I don't understand why you need to employ HDR to create this ? Sorry a 3 from me.

Polar bear swimming? For me, the lack of definition is making me look at the photo, trying to figure out exactly what is going on without much success.

I am lost with this picture. I can't quite determine what it is. I think I see some kind of squirrel or something.

Roadkill? Kudos for a unique idea, but I hope this is an intentional effort at the brown, because it might make it. If that's not the case, my apologies to the chef.
