Ok, this represents waaaaaay too much time invested. About 3 hours shooting and driving and at least 9 hours of editing.

Originally I wanted to create the Dark Knight poster exactly, but I couldn't figure out how to get a good picture of Batman, so I came up with this alternative.

I shot clouds, buildings, fire, and even took my girls (as a cover story) into McDonalds to shoot the Ronald statue.

I imagine that this will be quite a competitive challenge, so I hope this stands up. It's the most time I've ever invested in a challenge, so if it tanks - I give up. =)

Editing steps:
- used shots of clouds for the sky and smoke/fog
- each building is a separate shot. the two skyscrapers were 2-story buildings I cloned up
- Ronald is a statue, I burned in shadows and liquified the menacing expression
- the fire was the worst part; it's hand painted then smudged, and I ended up doing it more than once
- text layers give it that "movie poster" feel with a couple hand-drawn logos.
- various adjustment layers to get the lighting just right
- a dark and light noise layer to unify the multiple images and match the Dark Knight original

Can't wait to see the other images in this challenge. I enjoy this kind of creative editing.

Looks great. I think your score would have gone through the roof had you used a model made to look like Ronald.

Creative idea... mcyd's is evil. Bit more blending to make Ronald sit in the photo more making it look like one image. But good idea, good text and I hope you didn't really set that building ablaze.

ROFL. I am so glad that you added all of the extra text to make it look like a real poster.
