Challenge: Rejected Movie Poster (Expert Editing*)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D
Lens: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

Date: May 1, 2010

It was a lot of fun to trying to merge photos to make my little brother look like a Na'vi =) ...I was hoping to get something more realistic but didn't have the time, hope it does ok...

Ok I think I misunderstood the challenge, I thought it was to create an alternative version of a poster, it would be rejected because the real one is better...

Yah, I don't think you misunderstood the challenge at all, it clearly stated in the rules that you could do that, I think that some of the voters got their own ideas of what the entries should be. There was nothing that said it had to be a parody, or have a twist. Movie posters are rejected for various reasons, and not always because they were bad. Great work, deserved much higher.

Totally agree with Shermy here Justin, you didn't do a thing wrong- it's an awesome poster. Just one of those things regarding the vote, but it is still work to be very proud of.

I guess I don't get the reject concept unless you were going for good poster that got rejected for reasons not shown here. If I'm missing something feel free to PM me.

Nice work on the Avatar transformation although since it's been done to death on the internet it doesn't carry much wow factor for me.

Great idea. (missing the credits and added text of a true poster, but that's just me)

This dosen't look like a "rejected" movie poster; but since I REALLY LIKE the movie I won't dock you points. Excellent photo and editing! BB
