I don't remember seeing this one either. Maybe I was out of my mind during this challenge. Nice shot Donald.

Awesome movement. I love how both the rider and the bike dissolve into motion. The essence of transport, a fleeting representation of that which was.
Like a painting.

Just when I think I am getting there as a artist, I see someone present something so over the top that I realize I have yet to pack the bags..

Yes, he was in a classic "slacker" pose

One of my top votes in this challenge though I doubt that it is appealing to the majority on here, hope I am wrong and this finishes high.

WOW! Initially gave you a 7 but I'm giving you (a very biased) 10 upon second viewing. Evokes nostalgia, pleasant memories... =)

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like these sorts of images where form and movement win out over detail and conventional representation. There is just the right amount of form here to communicate your subject and the amount of motion blur conveys a great sense of dynamism. I also really like the structursnon the right of the image, they give the impression of pending destination and ground the rider into an environmental context.

Critical stuff: Nothing

Overall: Very compelling work. I like it a lot.

This shot is really cool... I like the blurred bicycle, and the horizontal lines, gives a great feel of motion.
