 Had some fun with night shots.

This is a 5 minute shot. Fired the flash a few times from each side with a warming gel.

Had to do some serious noise reduction in the sky.

For those that were wondering, the reason some of the small star trails are segmented, is because (I think) clouds moved in front of the stars for a part of the exposure, thus blocking the light.

I also cloned out some lights from cars passing by in the background, and also a two small distracting branches in the distance (definitely not influencing the typical viewer's description of the shot :) ).

Very nice light and texture of the sand/tree. The only thing I'n unsure about are the stars. I think blue seems a bit too saturated.

first of all... WOW.... BUT, WHY ARE THE STAR TRAILS SO SHORT! I am so bummed.... if this had longer star trails it would be my fav of the whole group... really!
