 I noticed these trees a few years ago and always kept them in mind in case another single tree challenge came up (which would have been useless, as there are two trees). It's about an hour's drive from home, so I don't go in that direction very often. It's a farm on a mountain. Presumably in summer, cows wander around the field, but otherwise they're kept indoors.
I had my ND-4 filter on, hence the slow shutter speed.
Post-processing: tilted slightly and cropped, levels and Convert-to-B&W (mostly Les Blue, More Red, until fairly pleased). Resized, sharpened.

Love the solitude. And I like the different treatment. The first thing I would have done is darken it to get the clouds a bit gloomier, but this such a beautiful treatment it's excellent and appreciated. High marks.

This has "nice composition" written all over it. The frame/border seems a bit heavy for so clean an image IMHO.
