Yup. This really deserves a one vote. Sheez! I put a challenge to all the below 4 voters....let's see you do better and then lets see you accept all the sub 4 votes without a grumble. And while you are at it, let me know your image and I will get all the ghost voters out there to add a few more...just to make you feel better!

For the ones who want to know the setup...it is simple. Black backdrop in shadow....balloon hanging in sunlight. No artificial light used. Use 1/8000 shutter, throw two darts and shoot. Done.

Amazing shot, Judi. I think people who vote 1 on a shot like this have no clue what they're looking at.

She could have taken this at 1/8th of a second or even at 2 minutes. It's the flash that freezes the movement, not the shutter's speed.

Great capture Judi. Glad it did well, all you anti popping balloons people could shut up now. :) 15 of those voted this below 5. Those are people who just don't like ANY water shot no matter how well it's done. That's what I consider a troll.

I didn't use a flash.

You are right Judi. I have done a similar shot and am amazed at your impeccable timing. Not one but two darts. Actually, I'd like to see anyone that votes below a 3, on any photo that averages 6 or above, justify their vote.

If I had voted this would NOT have been a sub-5 image. That takes time and patience. I am always amazed when I look at top images and see the amount of low scores - if it is any consolation you are in good company (yea, I imagine that doesn't help).

I guess this got caught up in the water balloon pop that so many others tried, but indeed, was the best by far. Got a 10 from me.
