the way you can see her eyelashes is FINE!
loving the grain, the comp, the feel of this shot. best of the challenge imo!

thought you would of got a ribbon on this one, the grainy effect is not to everyones taste but is certainly mine! It gives a warmth and personality that none of the others had. Bad luck.

Thank you for everyones comments, the shot was taken with a film noire theme in mind.

If i'm honest i would have liked 6+ for this photo, and interestingly this is where it started out and it was only on the last day that it dropped into the 5's...

The angle of the model does not really showcase the lingerie nor the model. The only thing I focus is the messy bed.

I think this would have worked for the "waiting" challenge a week or 2 ago. I like the use of the lighting.

Clever use of b-movie cinematographic style. The grain is essential to the photos success. Good work.

Not sure if you were going for the grainy effect, but it doesn't work for me.

Great image. love the lead from the bottom left although it is a little heavy. Grain effect works well.

The light is harsh on the left side and there appears to be a lot of noise.

Of the "real" lingerie shots, this is easily the best IMO. I had it seeded in my top group, and now I am bumping it to 10 so it stands clear of my other high scores, most of which are well-done parodies or abstracted images.

I think you did this very, very well and I hope you ribbon. Feel free to PM me if you wish, let me know how it's going; I am done with voting and I'm curious if you're getting dinged on grain and blown-out wall or not.

It makes me think of a French cafe movie.

Posed well, but your perspective could have been a bit better. Maybe closer to the model looking down her lengthwise. Also, the lighting is a bit harsh.

The lighting in the upper left is too harsh, and the lower left is too dark with no detail on her hair. Not going to get good results in this photo using matrix or evaluative metering. Perhaps partial or center weighted metering would have been more effective if your camera supports it. Seems like you also used an ISO that was too high in order to get a faster shutter speed or it's long exposure. In either case it created a very grainy and noisy texture to everything in the photo including her skin and the linens.

Nice attempt, but I'm afraid the best I can give you is a 4.
