 Closeup of the antique steam engine that runs from the Fort Worth Stockyards. It's been out of commission for several years now and the repairs are finally done. I've been trying for a few weeks now to get some good shots of it. First the weather stunk, then I showed up to find the steam engine was only running on Saturday and the modern Diesel ran the route on other days.

Anticipated Critiques:
-Steam makes it white on black
-Not liking composition

Post-challenge notes:
Ended up in my happy zone. Didn't quite have the sharpness and impact I would have liked it to have and it place about where anticipated.

Beautiful composition. Deliciously the intense black with here and there minimal colors.

Steam adds a delicious tension to the photograph.

Certainly a top photograph for these Challenge.
