Very pleased with the response. Rather a hurried submission: might have had slightly better pp, but I never go beyond basic editing anyway. (Deb is supposed to come and teach me!)

This is a 3/4 effigy/sculpture of Gus, currently installed on his owner's garage roof, photographed from his owner's house window - all the mystery is reflection of a window at 90 degrees and the natural splendour of the environment. Sculpture was part of an installation comprising 3 other dog effigies - will try to post photos, they were brilliant. There are quite a few pictures of Gus himself in my portfolio. (At the moment the effigy is about to be goosed by a giant red tulip growing in an pot nearby - subject for next expert challenge?).

I really like the odd juxtapositions here! Not as fond of the rectangular pixelation, but it doesn't NOT work, if that makes sense. Overall really like this.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Interesting juxta / superimposition of elements - it does hold the eye for quite a while.

Critical stuff: The image does feel incoherent to me, each element seems to avoid any support for any other to the extent that the image doesn't feel at all 'crafted'. I'm not a fan of your conversion either - the toning seems a little flat.

Overall: I do like images that make use of reflections but this one isn't working for me.

Oh wow, that's unique somewhat. That's looks like the reflection from a glass pane? 5
