 Figured I'd do something a little out of the box. One of my friends had this vibrantly orange jacket and I wanted to use it for something. I had him pose in front of the local toy store and took some shots. The majority of the editing for this was masking, desaturating, and sharpening. I'm hoping this shot begins to an emotion - and if it doesn't, I hope I can figure out why not.

you've got the orange down...but this just doesn't engage me...sorry

The coloring of this photo is a little strange. While the sweater is orange, the rest of it appears very purple. I think I would have like this better with a more natural tinge. I like "the little engine that could" in the corner. My eye keeps bouncing back between the person and that book.
