Oh...this one will like BOMB! I'm betting 3.5 to 4.8 at the most. The upper 5 and 6 ranges have been out of sight for me for ages now. What the heck...another one to my 4 range scored shots? I have quite the collection now! Really, I shouldn't be entering this at all but, I took it so, it's going in. :)

Knew I shouldn't have entered this one. LOL This shot was an imitation of an actual jewelery catalogue. Yeah, I know...I should have cloned out the dust on the display board but, was pressed for time. Last regular challenge for me for awhile now...unless I happen to catch a stellar shot that fits a challenge.

I did have a purpose for the blurred outskirts of this shot. I felt that the flowers around the product (necklace) would detract the eye from the product so, I blurred it out to stop that. However, I guess in doing that, I also should have gotten rid of the dust/lint particles because it now focused the focus on those LOL! Ah well...ya live and ya learn! :) Thanks to all for the comments! I hope to bury this shot sooner or later LOL.

I didn't vote in this challenge so I can't really tell you what I would have given this. I did scan thru and look at some photos based on thumbnails and this one caught my eye. I liked how the yellow complemented the colors of the necklace. And then of course I liked the piece of jewelry too! Did you make it? It's very pretty.

Beautiful pendant. At first I thought the surrounding oof was distracting, but at a second look I think it actually helps draw the eye to the necklace.

Since this is a product shot, the whole thing should be in focus. However, the bottom quarter isn't, and that really detracts for me, especially as it is done with seemingly no purpose. 5

Would have liked a cleaner background (could have cloned out the dust in post)

I like this shot a lot. The only thing I would change is the angle in which the photo was taken, or maybe the position of the light so the top flower wouldnt have been so blown out. Very simple and to the point.

DOF seems too shallow.

You really need the whole of the product to be in focus for this particular composition in my opinion
