I have only just become aware of this (and of 'the big collusion'). I love it - the forms, colour, texture etc - and only wonder why it wasn't higher placed among the abstracts.

This image speaks to me. Although this image is my favorite one in the WHOLE challenge, I'm marking the entire Abstracts, Spring catalogue "favorite" so I may encapsulate my own personal memory of this rather extra-ordinary experience. I wish I could make an abstract this good. Obviously, I have a bit of a ways to go...;-)

Yes. Just what Don said, I love the richness of the colors, and the "feel" of the textures too. Great to share a place in the catalog with you!

textures are outstanding, constantly shifting in between a 2D/3D feel. (no vote)

Page 69. The product is rich decaying colors. And intriguing textures. Beautiful. I almost hate to turn the page.

WOW, what a great idea--product shots for a catalog of abstract art! I love it!

I have voted 8 on most of the abstract catalog entries. Four of them I thought were stunning abstracts (including this one) so I gave them 10s.

I understand that some people are upset about this set of entries. One of the important functions of contemporary art is to raise issues and push boundaries. This often gets people upset. Hang in there!

I've never heard of this "Abstracts" company. Are they the re-vamped "Sharper Image"????

Another non-product product shot. I just don't get why your collective didn't choose a side challenge for these abstracts. It is an excellent shot, but very off-topic - I cannot make the connection that the image itself is the product. Also, since this was broadly and collectively coordinated, It's hard to vote this as an individual submission.

Holy beautiful... like a pop art dream. Something I'd expect to see hanging in a gallery. Excellently composed, perfectly processed, eye-popping goodness. Nice. 8

This has me dragged in two ways. One is a huge bouncy fun childlike memory. The other drags me off into smokey rooms and debauched affairs and sleaze. It's a bit of a tug. Either way, i love it. I'm not fussy. Great image
