As an abstract, this is superb! The "wavies" and colors, the shapes, all work in unison to have a very soothing watery feel. Well done.

I still agree with my original comment. This is one of my all-time favorite abstracts.

I usually don't like abstracts. But, this one has me.

Here is the kind of adirondack chair I like.

Reminds me of a small boat pier located at a small lake near where I live. The swans swim there along with the egrets. I love to go there on a summer evening where it's peaceful and lovely...just like your photo!

The bottom left...I see a face, spiked hair, some form of the cracken! (no vote)

Very nice. Love the painterly effect. The waviness is quite mesmerizing.

Feels like a painting. Beautifully composed and framed. What a great catalog! Can't wait for the summer edition.

Beautiful, but not a product shot

WOW, what a great idea--product shots for a catalog of abstract art! I love it!

I have voted 8 on most of the abstract catalog entries. Four of them I thought were stunning abstracts (including this one) so I gave them 10s.

I understand that some people are upset about this set of entries. One of the important functions of contemporary art is to raise issues and push boundaries. This often gets people upset. Hang in there!

This is cool. Did you fight with yourself over the green strip at the top? Like hmm...should I crop it or should I leave it in for the little splash of a different color? I know that's what I do. Glad you left it in!

Again. Team Abstract is certainly redefining DNMC. Another excellent shot that would've doen great in another challenge - possibly Fine Art or Abstract, but to submit an image as the product itself just doesn't work for me. Again great shot, poor choice for this challenge. As I have said to a few of your other teammates, It's very difficult to vote this as a individual shot when it is clear that this was collectively done.

this is actually quite nice - is it part of a conspiracy? if so, there seem to be a lot of people involved in it!

I really like images like this, and when done well, are some of the best abstracts in my view. This one is is pleasantly captured, with interesting colour contrasts and a very water-colour-esque sensibility. Pretty. 7
