Lighting: Just shy of perfect -- the back of the chair got a bit too hot.
Pose: the only thing I would change is the creasing of the shirt, but little ones being what they are that really can not be helped.
Background: seamless and perfect slight gradient. |

| Way to control the lighting to keep the detail in the white on white areas; a fluffy white butterfly net might have been a cool accessory, or maybe "overkill." |

One of the better kid pics. You have great lighting here giving a sense of depth. Pulls out the wonderful grin on his face also. I like the high key effect. Wanna know how ya didi it.

Nice shot of Sam, Jacko, as always. The lighing is spot on, which is really impressive, since it is white on white and you didn't lose any of the chair to the background.
The only thing that really stands out is the orange tint around his cheeks and nose. It looks like he went face first into a plate of spaghetti recently. :-) 9 |

| Jacko - I am only a registered user so can't vote member challenges, but recognize your son from the recent forum about your 50mm f1.4 prime lens... Just thought I would comment, as I have my eye on a dRebel and that lens...Great Shot, but I think others might recognize him too. |

This little button is beautifully shot and clearly his good looks must have robbed his father of his own. I feel sure that this child's fashion sense also far exceeds that of his father and that the slight mocking laughter in his expression has appeared as his weary, sleepless Dad steps from behind the camera - yet again.
Excellent diffused lighting in the true studio tradition . Well done - whoever you are!! :D |
