*darnsies* Two days after I shot this they announced the Toys challenge... so folks will be all tired of rubber duckies when voting on this challenge ends...

And I'm so totally in love with this little fellow that I can't bear to take him out.

*sigh*

What's a mommy to do???

EDIT: seven months later... and I STILL love this shot. *sigh*

EDIT: over a year later... and I STILL wonder why noone but TonyUK, glad2badad, Nuzzer, Sirashley and I loved this.

*sigh*

2 - I guess I've seen too many duckies to be moved by this.

Quirky and cute were my first two thoughts. Definitely fitting in the Fine Arts challenge and could see something like this in a gallery.. Well done! On a side note, made me think of the Ernie song from sesame street...

Where is the color? Why do you always take away the color, can I see the color?

Unique. The simple light and composition complement the simple toy and the joy it can bring.

A 3. Yep I gave this a 3. Now I am changing it to a higher number after taking more time with this shot. The simplicity and all the negative space coupled with a rubber duck grows on you. I actually kinda like this one now, still not a top pick from me but it is moving on up. Good luck.

10 because it's a ducky - never mind what I really think of the shot :)

Yes...I like the way you made use of negative space here and the placement of the rubber ducky is perfect.

I would have upped my vote on this if it had been a bit richer in tonal value...but a very, cute picture I might add

I imagine this is technically a good (and very difficult) picture but it simply does not suit my taste. No vote
