I managed to destroy half a dozen eggs to get this shot, and had tedious job cleaning the chainsaw afterwards, I also tried nailing a soft boiled egg to the old barn door, it turned out ok as well so I tossed a coin to decide which one. Thanks for all the nice comments and I'm really pleased with a top ten spot.

This is what I see when I look at this..."You'll put your eye out". I hope you wore eye protectors, if you hit that glass cup it's all over for your eyesight!

If your gonna do something, why not go all out! I love how its just complete overkill. Excellent shot, great focus on the egg and stand. I like how there is no motion blur on the egg and most of the gooey yolk is in focus and tapers off the frame in a blur.

Wow...that's just brutal! This was my top pick...and it was hard to choose because there was such tough competition. Lots of orignial ideas and takes on others previously used. This was very origninal. Nice capture of action with just enough shutter speed. Well done!

This is actually a cool shot, but too much blade. I would have like it cropped in quite a bit. The flying egg yolk ends up as just an after thought--it could use more importance.
