Coming back to comment, this is my favorite wildlife photo of the bunch..at least it looks "wild". I'm glad he isn't focused on you! I gave it a 10 a couple of days ago...

This has to be in his natural environment...that would be such a cool thing to see. Nicely done photo!

i like this shot of the king, i'd like to see less "white" sky and i'd like to see colors more warm, but is a good shot.

I like how you captured this young mail lion in the action of prowling the savanna. The angle of the capture also adds interest for he is heading in the direction off to the far left. It makes me wonder what he sees; what is he about to do? The audience waits for the lion's next action. A great above average shot (bumping to 7) but there is some room for improvement. Bring us closer to this big cat - show us more details of it's wild beauty. As the composition stands now the top 1/3 of the composition does nothing to complement the scene. If there was a lone tree or animal herds in the distance then there would be some complementry elements to the scene, but there is not. Crop that out and reconfigure the crop so that it remains the same aspect ratio and size of this horizontal presentation. Keep some of the savanna evirons of the grasslands but make this big cat bigger and more up close & personal. Do that and I think this composition will rocket up into the 9-10 category.

Dramatic picture even though I woudl have framed this differently. Great shot still. look at the eyes, walking with seemingly no purpose bu these guys know whats happening around them. Scary thought to be elsewhere but in the safety of a car

I love the light on the lion's face. It's a super pose, implying the lion was in stalk mode. Great job on this wildlife image. 9
