My Favorite kind of pictures, the one that screems .. I have my own style.
Simply love it, like the anlge allot, maybe showing more of the face .. very minor,
Like the texture as well, very well done, |

First impression:
I love the old feel to this and the overlay is subtle enough that it doesn't overpower the photo. Great start.
Suggested improvement:
That one big part of the overlay (smudge left center) is really sticking out. I might try taking that out.

Your experimenting works for me! That's the whole point of these side challenges. I really like what you did here. The overlay is subtle enough and allows for the composition to speak for itself. Really nice job. Keep 'em coming. |

I think this style works perfectly love the angle the colours and the grain you have added. Like a picture from a fairytale, beautifully done. I would say this different style is working very well for you! |

It works for me. The overlay makes it look like a worn or damaged old picture - but everyone will interpret it their own way. |

i like the overlay, nice and subtle, my personal taste is that it would be even better if the photo were faded slightly |

I agree a 'dreamy' look would work better. I guess I don't really 'get' overlays.... |

I quite like the photo in terms of composition, tone and the depth of field, lovely. I don't know what you are trying to do with the overlay though. My take on overlays is that they should add to the shot while not covering up the main features. Here I think I would either go for something rather soft as in a dream or go over the top and give it a real goth feel. |

Really nice. I like the invisible diagonal line connecting her with the rose. The perspective is unexpected and surprisingly nice. |

Nice composition and mood. I think the overlay is too subtle - I would prefer either no overlay or something a bit more dramatic. |

Nicely done colors and mood. I really like it.
The effect is interesting but just slightly distracting, IMO. |

I agree with paul, its given a nice edge with the overlay, but it would be just as well without. still a beautiful shot. |

I love the coloration here and the POV and the overlay is OK too. It'd be just as good without it but it hasn't harmed it any.
It's a great image though. |
