Hell of a nice shot. Much more mystical than your average landscape. I was one of your 8's.

For the record, on my sunset shot, I wouldn't even have ENTERED it (or probably even SHOT it) if the contrail weren't there :-)

Not really a style I care for. The extended effect is popular and many people do. just for me I like my water to look like water. This is such an interesting place to photograph and I feel that with the effect the detail, personalty and contrasts are lost. No idea where your Black Pearl is either. The title does not connect.

Neat pool you've captured here. Your choice of shutter length is great, capturing the flowing nature of the water but not over-exposing things. I'd like the "pearl" to not be cut off on the left, and in the top left, I wish that there wasn't that bit of sky showing through the trees. I still really like the BW conversion on this though. Great capture.

Great long exposure, site selection. Love the B&W treatment.

Lots of soft texture and interesting pattern in this long exposure...works quite well as a b&w!

You can really see the water flow with that long exposure. Nice job.

There are going to be those that love the BW on this photo. I would have preferred to see the color version though. The composition is wonderful, but I miss the vibrant colors and the details that are lost in the shadows. 6
