Thanks everyone for the kind and helpful comments. This shot was back lit with with morning sun. One commenter mentioned the center should be lit more. I actually tried that using a small flashlight but didn't like the results as much compared to this one. I have good luck with this shell in past challenges. It is not so much the photography but the intricate detail of the shell itself.

Spiral within spiral within spiral drawing you in and giving allowance to ponder the mystery and magnificence of the larger scheme of the Universe contained within the smaller microcosm of the shell. The golden lightplay on the right side contrasts nicely with the translucent and pearline nacre of the subject. Beautiful - and I like how the circles expand ever outward until they fill up and sweep out of the frame.
