Steps:

Taken with Lensbaby Muse with double glass optic without aperture disk (wide open f2)

Import Raw file into Lightroom.
Rotate image and crop.
Convert to Greyscale.
Tones and curves.
Export to Photoshop
Add noise
Back to Lightroom.
Yellow and blue split toning.
Curves
Back to Photoshop to add border
Lightroom then export.

Ridiculously bad finish for a fine, evocative image. The Posthumous takes some of the sting off, I hope. I gave this an 8.

It doesn't really work for me but I respect what you were going for and I think you did it well so I won't mark you down for it. I suspect this wont do well around here.

I'm not sure how well this really fits the challenge, But I think this is Great...yeah...that's right...capital 'G' kind of Great :)

There are some unique and creative entries in this challenge and this photo is no exception. The abstract aspect of this and grain really work well to create a very good photograph!

This doesn't jump out at me as a 'centred' composition and I want something shot for this challenge to do exactly that. Interesting image though.
