To answer the question, there are many varieties of Japanese Maple trees - this one turns much deeper crimson in autumn. It's a beautiful color. I hope I captured it.

Oh you definitely captured it. Love the color it turns to in the Fall. One of my favorites in our garden. For those wondering, in the Summer it's more of dark maroon purple and not as strikingly colorful when backlit.

I love them, have two of them in front of my house, this shot is really nice, I'd never know how to capture a tree like this, great lines.
