this is amazing ... i love your dune shots and decided to open a few more .. just had to comment on this one ... actually its beyond amazing .. i have no idea how you'd get a shot like this .. long exposure but surely to get the stars you'd end up with a much lighter scene ??.. would you use a filter that cuts down the light or something .. total ignorance speaking by the way .. .. maybe rotating the camera with the flash on the tree .. have to be a bonsai tree tho .. !! .. still total ignorance .. :)

Very nice! Out of curiosity, what was lighting the tree red? You don't see many long exposures of the night sky here.
