This was the first time in my life I ever „worked“ with a snail. I was VERY apprehensive about it but he/she/it was very cooperative ;-)
The only problem was I’d no idea that snails are always on the move, constantly changing direction and constantly moving their heads. I had a hard time getting a sharp pic but was happy with this at the end of the day.
I then took the snail back to where I found it. No snail was harmed in the making of this image.

They are fascinating indeed and always on the move. At least, quite slow! :))
I had two, one was very difficult to shot because he kept eating paper like hell.
