The Image: The first 'serious' image I have taken on over a month. I am sure it will probably bomb as has been the case with me lately. I have been so busy and my creative MOJO has once again eluded me. I like this image, and am happy with the edit overall.

The Edit: Some adjustment layers for all sorts of things from B and W to sharpening to levels etc. All basic stuff.

The Prediction: 6.0000

Post: OK, I was wrong with the prediction...:)

I am super happy with the result after a lull...

I really enjoy the angling of the building in this, as well as the texture of the bricks. You really captured some interesting lighting on those bricks, and the whole structure is just interesting to begin with. The cloud and the manner in which it transitions into the blue of the sky is very pleasant. Great shot.

Sometimes it pays to go out of the box and this is one of them, good job for the challenge, the addition of the building gives it depth. Una bella photographia!

The perspective you found for this shot makes this look monumental. Incredible capture. Hope to see it on the front page.

I think this is a wonderful photo, but I don't know if it meets the challenge: make it obvious that it's been taken from a window. Still, I love it, so I'm giving it an 8.

Ahhh. Makes me think of home........A shame that you didn't have blue sky to really show up against the Melbourne Central Cone........The Shot Tower in from the side helps lead the eyes into the great Geometric shapes that the cone produces.......Really like the border that you have on this as well....Adds to the geometric effect of the whole image.........

Love the image. I guess you'll get some DNMCs, because the compositon seems to be of windows, rather than something through a window. The contrast between straight and curved lines is great, as is the tone. I'll penalise you 2 points and give you a 7.

Ah... Melbourne's shot tower. Have been wanting to shoehorn this into a DPC challenge for ages, and you've managed to get a beautiful photo which isn't even close to being a shoe horn... fits the challenge perfectly. Well done. Composition is perfect, and the colours are great. I particularly love the hint of the building on the outside in the bottom right of the image. Marvelous.

Vlado or hotpasta, I'm guessing.

There used to be a hot-air balloon hanging from the dome. Is it still there? (My cousin did the costumes of the mannequins.)

Really excellent wide angle. I love the perspective and shadow and light play. I anticipate a winner with this one. :~)
