 This was shot at my back screen door. Through a window! lol Camera was on tripod with interval timer. One flash on camera, to light frame. One off camera flash held to side, to light face and hand. Black make up was applied to face. This helped keep face darker, while allowing eye to pop white. Image was cropped, Curves adjusted, reduced contrast, highlights, tone, raised hue and sharpness, cropped and resized in iphoto.

6.3 and 17th place? You were robbed. This image is better than most above it but I guess didn't fit into the take a picture of your pet, child, or landscape crowd. Great vision on coming up with something different.

I would love to know how this effect was achieved. It looks like a drawing. Amazing! The only 10 I have given in this challenge! Should win the blue!
